Believe me when I say
I'm not staying in your pocket
waiting on your rainy day

Believe it when you see
I've gone on to someone new
and he's bringing out the best in me

Believe it when you feel
that I'm really gone for good
it's over, and I'm off to find the real

As I think back, you remind me of lessons learned, and one was, when the girl down the street said "that", she did mean it! And my tomorrows were never the same and I never forgot her name.
